i choose jaehyun, taeil, haechan, and xiaojun

I just like their vocal color

I chose Taeil, Doyoung, Xiaojun & Jeno (bc he's my bias )

They all have those honey vocals that I like to hear. Like their voices are really smooth and silky.

First of all they happen to be very capable and have lovely vocal tones at the same time, which is always a winning combo. Second, I find all 4 of them to be effortlessly emotional, especially Doyoung. Haechan has one of the prettiest tones in kpop and Xiaojun and Renjun have this lowkey unique style that makes whatever they sing sound more sultry.

With Xiaojun at 5th place for me.

Doyoung

I first knew him when he was mc-ing with Jinyoung. He was such a kid there, so I did not expect him to be such a strong vocalist. When I first really listened to him, I was impressed

Hmm I can't judge who is the better vocalist among them but I like Haechan and Jaehyun's vocal tone the best so these two for me.

Haechan

Doyoung (really close to Haechan tho, I love his voice and he's always improving)

Taeil

Chenle

I would have voted Jaehyun then Xiaojun then Jungwoo if there was more option available...

Haechan that it, the reason is listen to his voice and what add to every song and that is enough

7th sense and synchronization of your Dreams is the example of his power

My personal picks are Jaehyun, Doyoung, Xiaojun, and Haechan.

Really hard but at the end i choose Xiaojun, Renjun, and Jaehyun.

Xiaojun always gives me chills whenever he sings. Renjun voice is so angelic and soft. While Jaehyun has this really warm deep voice.

Dream: Renjun's voice is amazing too but I prefer Haechan's unique color

WayV: If I realized I had two votes I would've picked both Kun and Xiaojun but I'm dumb so just add one more vote to Xiaojun's too please

1. Xiaojun because I mostly listen to WayV

2. Taeil because he's the first vocalist that caught my ear in NCT U

3. Doyoung because he's the voice I notice in NCT 127

4. Jaehyun because there aren't enough deep voices and Lucas doesn't sing much

Renjun. He checked all the boxes (requirements) that I had in mind when deciding on who my favorite nct vocalist is

Chenie for me his voice just always stands out.

For me, I feel like the 1-2 spots are always the same, but my 3 and 4 can shift around.

1. King Taeil

He’s a vocal showstopper - range, power and emotion. I always fall for voices in a group and his was the first one I could pick out. I would listen to this man sing a calculus book.

2. Doyoung

Emotional and agile, this is another vocal showstopper for me.

3. Xiaojun

He’s really moved up in my rankings over the last year. He always had the power and emotion I’m a sucker for but he had some gorgeous tenderness and ache on some of his ballads this year. That live band Back To You. OMG.

4. Jaehyun

There’s a honeyed richness to his vocals that I love - it’s warm and lovely. I need more stuff like “Make Your Day.” I mean I love the hell out of that song anyway but his voice there is just chef’s kiss and moves up and down his range in such a wonderful way, balancing against the other 127 showstoppers really well.

Honorable mention:

- Renjun. I haven’t been into Dream so I’ve been sleeping on his voice - it also has what I love in a great voice - power and emotion.

- Kun’s voice is softer and more delicate than my usual faves but I love its beauty, and it can break your heart or provide drama like Light Bulb and I’ve really enjoyed hearing more of his range on Resonance, Kick Back album and Back To You.

I agree with everything. Those are my 6 favorites, just in a slightly different order.

thanks! Voices for me are what always pick out of the group first and how I learn people. Even if I can’t remember a name or a face, I know a voice. I also know I have a specific preference for big, rich vocals. (I’m called an SM stan and I suppose I am a stan for that type of vocal which they produce across so many groups - male and female.)

What would be your order?

1. Taeil, 2. Doyoung, 3. Jaehyun, 4. Renjun, 5. Xiaojun, 6. Kun

If it were personal preference only, disregarding everything else, Jaehyun would be #1.
