They have sold 2M already, Gaon themselves said it but the monthly chart counts until the 31rd, and even if they had the info of the 2M sales before that those sales are counted once they are sent to stores. It's not rocket science really.

Because that's the amount they produced the first month but it wasn't send/counted as sale yet, Hot Sauce is already out of stock in some stores. Same happened last year with BP and nct 2020 sales, companies reported the numbers earlier

the company reports the number first just like with preorders, SM said more than 2M were sold in 16 days so that's probaby the stock they prepared to send until may 26th but didn't get shipped during the tracking period. let's keep in mind that gaon counts shipments and sometimes there are logistics that make it difficult for them to arrive in time

I ordered two versions during preorder time, but they didn't arrive yet, ktown4u keeps saying they are waiting for new stocks of the posters to send it lol

we already bought it but they aren't sending the albums yet so that's why 5k+ albums didn't get counted. gaon counts shipments, right?
