So to answer the question, and based on how much they sold for past albums + wayv and Dream growth, I think 1.2 millions (resonance numbers) are very possible to surpass.
If it's a full album with the same versions as dream, maybe even 1.5 millions or more. If it's just a mini, I'm hoping for 1.2M. I try to not be very optimistic but nct always surprises me

Semicolon had only one version as far as I know. That might be a contributing factor...
Not sure about 2m for NCT 127, because it will depend on:
- number of versions
- price
People saying that 127 is more popular than Dream so they definetely should sell more than 2 millions should take into consideration the fact that NCT Dream had 10 relatively cheap versions + hype of 1st full album as 7Dream. In comparison, EXO special album physical albums cost more.
Depending on number of versions (I think in 127 case it doesn't matter if they release mini of full album), I would expect total 1,4 - 1,5.
Hot sauce photobook (3 versions) are the same price as exo's photobook 1, also the jewel cases ( individual cover option) are the same
Exo has two additional photobooks that are more expensive but we don't know what's included yet
I liked 127 title tracks (except for Wakey Wakey and Fire Truck) so i think it will be amazing....
I am seeing it close to 1.7M on Pre-orders.... If the pre-order time is 25+ days
Haven't compared all stores, but I would agree that jewel case price for exo = jewel price for dream. (dream has 7 covers of jewel case, exo seems like has 1). But photobook...I checked ktown (the web site I used for my orders) and Dream version is aroud 15,5 $, exo photobook 1 version - 18,2.

I just checked and Exo photobook ver. 2 is $15.55 too (photobook 1 is the expensive one), the jewel case is the same price but exo only has 1 cover, because the "expansion ver" (or photobook 3) is the one with individual covers for each member, kinda like nct dream's jewel
Idk why SM decided to split it like that unlike the usual photobook+jewel case with individual cover like they did for SHINee too, it's confusing. But in short, exo has the same prices as dream, just one more expensive version added.

Healthy estimate
127 had individual covers for Regulate and Loveholic. I like the idea of individual covers for NCT, but more than that I want good packaging and photoshoot. Please no more Regular-Irregular experimental photos (tooo neo for me) and Limetless packaging. I can't even put my Limitless albums on the shelf
And lets not talk about loveholic big size...I know about regulate but tbh the photobook isn't appealing since it's the same for all covers iirc. I'd prefer individual pbs for the jewel case and just 2/3 normal group versions for the album

I think about splitting 127 members by sub-units like SM did for SuperM latest album. It's not an individual coverage, but still more photos that in jewel case 'photobook'.
That's bigger than my shelf llmao.
9 members individual covers would be top much, I agree, maybe units would be the right choice
