Look, it’s a bit of a self-fulfilling prophecy type situation...
A) undeniable- their music, lyrics, performance ability vibe more with people generally
B) the more success and records they break, the more the gp are interested and invested..
C) hence, the more success they have and records they break.
Maybe they have something in their musics like 'wow' factors. One more things, their music is so addictive, it's like if you heard once you wanted to hear more, their discographies never get boring, there's a lot of different type and you can choose according to your moods, they talked and covered about many issues.
I'm not sure what, but each of BTS members have their owns unique vocal colour which might be lacking by some group, cmiiw.
a big reason is because bts' public image is extremely clean/good and they have tapped into the national pride a lot of korean feel with their international success. bc of this kgp is more likely to check out their songs and be more likely to think of them fondly and be open to seeing/hearing them. their music has also been falling in the realm of things that are generally popular in korea. only idol fans like the stuff most other bgs are releasing currently.
BTS have that IT factor, something you either have or don't. You can't manufacture it, you can't fake it.
They have immense talents across the board: vocals, dancing, writing, producing, composing, charisma, humor, relatability. They even have a bit of luck, but they also had the foresight and the DRIVE to grab hold of those chances and run with it. Their work ethic is insanely impressive.
They have it all. It's very rare. The universe, and ARMY, saw fit to reward them for it.

Unlike bts exo even thou they more talented and cooler their music is better than BTS they don't Work as hard they Never prépare contents for their fan i think they only have 3 reality shows With few épisods while BTS have a lot and run dépasse 100 their performance are mostly lipsync and their stupid company didn't take opportunités like cochella offre western collab and they Saïd no to an american label when they offer to manage exo in west

I guess their music just isn't as good as bts
Koreans don't like BG music
But they like BTS because they export korean language and music to the west, and this make prideful because they love western attention and respect, yes specifically western i.e. european and american, because before groups were smashing in Asia koreans fans were actually resentful because they were giving Japan/China attention while ignoring Korea
