I've yet to see a group that can have an acapella segment in their song. the flex was too much

lemme do big bang since some uninformed peeps on here think they're so irrelevant
they were the first idol group to:
have a lightstick
release mini albums
have an underground rapper turned idol (top)
win an international award
dye hair a somewhat crazy or not natural color before comeback
edit: you changed the title

SHINee were the ones to start the dance practice trend and the ones to make dancing be taken more seriously in kpop

This is all true. Bigbang, the first hip hop/idol group in kpop history.

- 2NE1 and SuJu - IIRC, they were the first two K-pop groups to embark on successful world tours.
- (G)I-DLE - Honestly, I believe they're the first Cube Entertainment group to create self-composed music with "HWAA", and I'd consider that to be successful if you know what I mean .
- After School - With their Morning Musume-like graduation concept, they were quite successful with hits like "Flashback" and "Bang" in their discography - too bad Pledis had to screw them up by shipping them to Japan ...
- Girl's Day - They were one of the first groups back in 2013 to sing a song about South Korea's first female president, Park Geun-hye (who later got impeached and was eventually sentenced to 20 years in prison), and guess what? They got their first music show win with that song !

Excuse me, but did we forget about H.O.T. and S.E.S. ? (BTW, I'd consider them to be the first K-pop groups that followed the idol group formula...)

A.C.E was the first boygroup that danced in crop tops but apparently people don't care cause everyone belives that nobody else ever wore or wears them other than Kai but he started to wear them in 2019 while A.C.E did this way before him ...
If they hadn't worn them first, probably no other male idol would wear these now ...

seventeen started part switch i think.
also they didnt create it, but they definitely popularized fresh bg concepts with the new gen
I am pretty sure they were the very first group to do part switches back in 2015 with Adore U, and it definitely became a trend after that.
I have a feeling that dan-chant might become a thing later on.

oop svt trendsetters we been knew!!!

Acapella part in Tempo is still undefeatable.
