Besides TXT and Day6, yes.

Who is #2?? I never heard of them

Wow!! SGWannabe, still a boy group, and 2nd place at that.

Who is #2?? I never heard of them
They debuted in 2004 as a ballad/idol hybrid; their songs went viral a couple weeks ago due to a performance on Yoo Jaesuk's show "Hangout with Yoo". Check below:

It's a duo that mostly sings ballads/midtempo songs, or osts.
They're not Kpop idols. Amazing voices.
Edit: a trio, apparently.

I'd like it if the new title can be as big as Obsession was digitally.
We can only hope for the best. I think with no promotion (this time its literally ZERO), It would be even harder.

pretty sure that is a MASSIVE wall.

If I can make those puns, anyone can. I have a brand now.

Don't forget the pun-master, Daniel.

This is restricted to korean digitals.
I expected you to do overall digitals. That would be very informative and more exciting list to see.

They debuted as a trio but then one member left and he later ended his life. The duo went on hiatus for like 4 years after that.
They were so popular in the early years of 2nd generation, they even won some daesangs.

Thanks, no wonder I had the impression that it's a duo.
(Wait, a member committed suicide?) So, who's that other guy singing with them up there?
They were, I was there. Timeless was that song for me

I just realised another member joined after one of the original lineup left. They're indeed a trio.
Tbh I never followed them closely, only knew that a member left and later committed suicide but didn't know someone else was added until now.

Is this based on those groups' KR releases for this year? I'm a bit confused because you included SHINee who just had a comeback this year, but also included BTS even though they haven't made any comeback yet, or it could be because BTS' past releases are still charting hence why you included them, which is understandable. 'Cause if this is based on those groups' releases which have managed to enter the chart/s for this year, then I don't think Seventeen should be included there just like EXO because they haven't made any comeback yet. Unless they somehow managed to chart their old releases, which is unlikely 'cause they aren't a digital monster like BTS.

Damn
Just to clarify, the new member wasn't added after the former one committed suicide. He was added as soon as the first one left. The former member committed suicide years after he left.

Based on digital performance in 2021, not songs released this year.
SG wannabe is charting songs from 2004 right now.
If I removed NCT and SVT, ONF and Sechskies would be on the list in 4th and 5th

Highlight will replace one of the two groups in 4th and 5th, I feel it.

Yes, you can make your own thread.

I stole your idea again salem9
You did

Digital performance in 2021? So this isn't just based on Korean digitals, but International as well, I assume? Considering that Seventeen did have their 3rd JP Single and two solo releases for 2021.
