JYP girl groups that sing chorus together?

miss A and Wonder Girls did too, but NOT always

for WG though, it was usually a mix of chorus + one main line or two from Sunye/Yeeun

for Miss A, again it was chorus with one member highlighted more than the others

this way honestly worked the best for JYP groups seeing how all freaking songs were hits

They normally sing/chant the point lyric in the chorus together.

Ex:

Wonder Girls -> Tell Me, Tell Me, T-T-T-Tell Me. and I'M SO HOT then you had I WANT NOBODY NOBODY BUT YOU

Twice -> "JUST LIKE TT" and "HEART HEART (Likey)"

But after the chant, the main chorus line goes to individual members like Sunye, Ye Eun, 3MIX

those are completely unrelated lol

in Wonder Girls songs, those werent just small chants, they were half the chorus itself

now that I think about it, all their title tracks had half and half solo + chorus except maybe Irony

some of their bsides were all chorus too

And I agree it was a very successful tactic and honestly Tell Me shaped the formula for the 2nd gen songs.

T-ara followed suit with the same structure for Bo Peep, Roly Poly, and Lovey Dovey, and more!

All SM groups sing the chorus together. Sm groups generally do the harmonization so well. For example, two singer can harmonize in some parts of the song. Not just chorus. I don't know much about Jyp, but usually the main singer and lead singer sings the chorus just from what I see.

Twice sang the chorus together in Girls like us

SM groups harmonize a lot - it's the signature sound of SM groups. It's always a full group harmonic chorus with the main or lead vocals occasionally doing some ad-libs.

Outside of SM groups I rarely see it. Even Mamamoo doesn't harmonize that much and has individual choruses.

If you mean the way SM groups do then none. Not only GGs but even JYPE's BGs don't do it either. It isn't their company's style I guess.

Just now i was watching some WG's MVs and the chorus was always Sunye and Yeeun

i think itzy has sooo many songs where they sing the chorus together. like majority of their bsides they sing the chorus together. Twice only has a little and I can't think of a Miss A song where they sing the chorus together. I dont think they have one

SM groups harmonizes a lot, not only girlgroups all their groups harmonize numerous parts of their songs

YG groups I remember Treasure and Bigbang (early songs) harmonizing, don't remember any other of them, maybe they just do occasionally and I just don't remember shrugs

For JYP I remember Wonder Girls harmonizing sometimes
