hwasa has amazing stage presence, she’s so powerful

jennie has a good stage presence, i like her performances (her being my bp bias might play into this lol)

Among popular ones, no one really. Stage presence isn't facial expressions and dancing lol. And if idols lipsync on stage, stage presence is good as non existent.

2ne1 is a good example of stage presence. Mamamoo and Jessi too.

Individually: Lisa, Seulgi, Jihyo, Hwasa and Soyeon. Whether you like their groups or not, no denying their presence.

As for groups as a whole, I think it’s harder to choose.

I would just add CLC and agree with others. They have great stage presence as group.

You don't think Lisa, Soyeon and Seulgi have good stage presence? I am surprised, usually even non fans admit they have presence. Jihyo is impressive too.

When I think of stage presence, I think of someone like Beyonce who is a diva, Rihanna who is so sensual and confident on stage people just get drawn, etc. Kpop is strictly controlled by choreographies that there is hardly any interaction with the crowd and letting themselves loose on stage. Even when most idols do live performance, it sounds so breathy when they dance, it's just not nice to hear or it's covered by loud backtracks. Among you listed, Lisa is a charismatic dancer/performer but not necessarily someone with good stage presence, Soyeon might qualify, Seulgi for me, only has good facial expressions but I don't feel anything when she performs. Idk though, that's just my opinion lol.

Mamamoo can just stand without dancing and still grab your attention.

This is Mamamoo and it's not even close. The whole Korea praise them for their performance, they proved it again during Queendom. It doesn't even need to be debated.

The real debate is rather which girl group performs best after Mamamoo.

Also I saw 2ne1 being mentioned, I did not know that they was still active, the OP clearly specified "Among the active ones".
