My IDEAL boy group

Now I'm not a huge bg lover, quite the opposite actually, but if i had to make a boy group that I would find amazing, near perfect, these would be the members/concept!

My ideal bg would be filled with members that are either them, similar or heavily inspired by them.

The members:

1. Woodz (96): main vocal

His beautiful emotional and powerful voice would be perfect for their more rock/ballad centered songs. He is also gorgeous and charming.

2. Kai (94): main dancer, supp vocal

His visuals are to die for, he would definitly be a western fan favorite with his dark sexy visuals, charms, charisma and outstanding dancing skills. His formation in both hip hop and ballet would be perfect for the group, he has both the charisma and the grace. Also his smooth voice would suit more rnb/hip hop based songs.

3. Hyunjin (00): visual, lead dancer, rap

He is the most beautiful korean man i have ever seen, to me he is THE original male visual. yup. His semi long dark hair and a bit of androgynous beauty would also perfectly suit the dark fairy concept.

4. HongJeong (98): main rapper, lead vocal

He is a genius, i love his rapping style, it's so unique, but he is also a singer and idk i just love his style, i find him very charismatic and talended. He also seems to have good leadership and songwriting skills.

5. Felix (00): magnae, lead rapper

He is the perfect magnae, utterly adorable and might be the core idenity member of the group. He embodies the concept perfectly well, he is like a living fairy, hypnotique, mysterious and etheral. Maybe a bit more on the delicate side but other members are there to balance out. Also his very deep voice would be a great addition to the rap line, would excell on songs like Ice on my teeth...

Group name: EXYL

Lore is the members have been exiled from their Fae world on Earth, they are kind of fae/aliens/supernatural beings, on earth they have to deal with battles between good and evil, and often inner battles, they are also in search of their lost love soulmates. And just have to deal with earth and it's tribulations, feeling like they are existing within a simulation.

Concept: I would like a dark concept, maybe a mix of dark fairy, cyber punk (kinda like aespa argmaggedon) with a tint of fantasy/medieval lore alternating between western and eastern folklore. Also a concept i LOVE is a mix of modern & traditional elements. (ex: kai peaches, rv chill kill etc)

Genra: a switch between hip hop/rap and rock/hyperpop; or rock tracks with rap ala Linkin Park with a dark fairy futuristic lore ...with influences from alt music and some trip hop.

It would be great if they would also learn to play instruments, ideally they would be like a mix of boy group x band. Sing, dance, play instruments, trained and pushed into songwriting, etc... Also according to their ages, they would be a 3rd/4th gen bg.

Why do you think? Is it good? Would you stan a group like that ?

I personally think this group would be freaking legendary!

ps: I excluded 1st and 2nd gen bgs because somehow i feel like these gens bgs were just too legendary and well put toghether to be touched. actually i did take some inspiration from shinee and big bang. and also of aespa lol. i just feel like hyunjin/felix would suit their concept well. just felix reminds me so much of karina and winter. idk...

About the idols, I like all the 5 idols you chose. I don't know how would've been their dynamics together, but separately they are all amazing on their own and have strong individuality.

the first concept wasn't really fantasy/medieval tho, it was more dark magic/supernatural?

but overall yes alot of that but with a main DARK FAIRY concept . like somehting like armaggedon or these romansaty fairy books you know ...

and of course synergy in a group is essential, but individualiy is also VERY important to me. that's why i don't like big group for example...

also i would want them to stop being traditional 'idols' and shift more into 'artists' and have more freedom.

but the only other main vocal i could potentially include would be DO or Baekhyun depending of how well each would suit the concept.

I don't think this group will be part of a lot of discussion about the best vocal line of their gen

i don't really care about belting that much or being a great vocalist 'group' to be honest, woodz could handle them high notes anyway if needed, i care more about findind well rounded ACES who would excell at their role in their group. (and the overal group synergy too of course.)

so tones and vocal colors are very importance, star factor, stage presence, charms, visuals, personality etc... I find all these members very well rounded in everything and all be able to fullfill their purpose in the group's musical, visual, dance, and conceptual direction very well.

edit: Also, if it was a 7 member group, I would add DO and BaekHyun as vocalist/members too. I just prefer smaller group.

production and trainng is such a huge factor for that end results .

most of these members have some sort of androgyneous charm in common, and something a bit ethereal, supernatural. also very charismatique.

and i feel like they all complement each other well, even their voices. woods is the emo kid, kai the smooth rnb side, hong with his distinctive unique tone, then felix with his deep deep voice that would be interesting in raps.

btw i didn't say i wanted 'just' a rock concept, but a mix you know like a real kpop group . A bit of rock, a bit of hip hop, a bit of hyperpop/edm ...

song range: armageddon, ice on the teeth, peaches, drowning, loner with a bit more alt elements etc... ( as inspis)

also VISUAL chemistry is soooo important for me...on top of course of vocal chemistry!

and yeah the sub unit idea is great, like a woodz/hong sub unit and a hyunjin/kai sub unit too..

also i kinda made a 3rd/4th gen edition, i left out 2 gen bg members .
