You're asking me to choose between a retired group... and a conglomerate like Hybe? You could replace njz with any other group or solo artists and I still wouldn't "root" for Hybe/any company. Just my opinionnn😌🔫

it's bad enough that you shade BABYMONSTER's music, but now you're shading my homeland.

I am Team Hybe now. If Teddy, Bang PD and New Jeans coulda just gotten their heads out of their asses and worked out a deal for Teddy to take over New Jeans instead of him debuting his nonimpactful group and New Jeans going AWOL, i would be supporting both tbh.

Imagine New Jeans with Izna's amazing discography and with a professional manager like Teddy, not an insane narcissistic sociopath leading them.

But Illit came out with 3 SOTY quality singles last year, Lesserafim had SOTY contender Smart plus Izgone members and the best stage presence and vocals of 4th gen, and of course BTS who will go on an epic run in a year or so... so i will say team hybe for now.

Missing a 'neither' option

I like the group and I hope they can get away with it and continue as NJZ but I can't really blame ADOR for trying to prevent it. The company invested a huge amount of money and time, it would be pure insanity to just let them walk away while under contract and do nothing about it.

Tbh I don't see how anyone can be team HYBE when the whole reason they're so pissed is because NJZ had a clause in thier contract that allowed the girls to exercise basic human rights.

If no laws or contracts are broken then yes. When it comes to a professional setting any breach of contract or wrongdoing needs a court ruling. I have no clue about the exact terms of their contract and whether there's justification for one-sided termination or not so I can only wait and see how it ends.

I wish that the group is able to continue making music and performing but at the same time I can't blame ADOR if they take it to court, I'd do the same if it was my job to look out for the interests of ADOR.

I'll only support HYBE if they're a company that hasn't done anything despicable, and if they care for their artists.

And with how they treat LSFM, ILLIT, NJ--yeahhhh. No. While bad publicity is still publicity--it exposes the girlies to a lot of hate. As a company, it's their job to protect the girlies and not use them as meatshields. They've failed to do so.

I noticed that I tend to be for the underdog in any situation, the side that doesn't have the power dynamics and abundant resources/influence/connections/etc going for them since often they have a so much harder and tougher time to get their side of the story out - unless there are overwhelming arguments that speak against them.

So in this case I'd be for NJZ (I guess that's the new name for NewJeans now? Or has it always been in use? nvm)

But I do honestly admit that I pick NJZ while not knowing the full 100% details of the entire case.

NGL this made me snort bourbon into my nose but you can't tell me you hate Izna's discography, they are literally sisters sonically with New Jeans. I mean if you mashed up OMG with Supershy you literally get this bop.

And Teddy, whatever his faults is a consummate professional. He never ruins his groups with his own petty ego or puts himself before his artists, he has all kinds of connections, look what he did for Rose - easily the most successful Kpop solo release since JK's smash hit. Dude is a pro in every sense of the word.

I'm for "team logical and fare", and that is that the contracts should fullfill the contracts and not broken and you should not be able to run away as soon you like. If you call that "team Hybe" sure....I call it more "team law, business and trust".
