If I answer truthfully, my ultimate favs will just be mocked by all the doubters and haters, so I'll let the implication do the talking for me.

Depends on each person's own definition of success, but I guess the likes of New Jeans, Ive, Aespa to varying levels from 4th gen. Probably Lesserafim too.

You can probably include groups like SNSD, Big Bang as well? Twice to a certain point and BTS from a certain point?

New Jeans is probably the closest overall from debut I would guess, but then we're comparing 2 years to 7+ for some of these older groups.

as a group, top 4th gen GG will always be successful until their renewal contract. for 3rd gen GG, none of em.

but as for each individual members and what i mean is for EACH individual member to having individual brand and successful solo career wether it's CF, music, movies, fashion etc. Nah, you won't see anything like that.

They have better streams than a lot of Gen 4 groups/Gen5 groups.

if we're just talking about korea, i think bigbang is definitely up there. Their latest single, still life, with no promo still being the highest unique listeners on melon. Got PAK and 10 trophy from music show. All of their comeback was sucessfull with minimal promo. No one in 2nd gen match them in digital and long term career.

After BP's successful solo comebacks, I see companies putting more restrictions on members. I'm still amazed that YG let them leave so easily.

Well they did not comeback much did they? Did they cross even 50 songs?

Still scarcity was a successful strategy and they made up with a bulk of non-music activity.

Success is a vague term because almost all groups do not have the level of success Blackpink has but some are still considered successful nonetheless.

The only group that can reach Blackpink's level and be consistently big every comeback is probably newjeans depending on how their future goes
