I don't think you can view streams in that way unless you look at global top 50 for that country but maybe I'm wrong. And even then it wouldn't be accurate. In any case, Twice has 8b streams on Spotify. So I find it hard to believe that Japan, Twice's biggest market, only contributes 320m (~4%) to that.

Yeah imo it’s most likely the charted or tracked streams which is never that accurate nor gives the full picture
Plus also twice didn’t have Spotify for some of their biggest hits meaning it probably never charted since they were added later on.
In any case we definitely can’t say New Jeans beat the life time streams of twice in Japan. It very misleading. But leave it to kpop fans to make random tweets and never provide any source and everyone takes their word for granted lol.
Just a word of advice, do not take the word of tweeter bird accounts without looking yourself. It appears that Twice number is just the number of streams accumulated this year.... not all time.
I have looked at the reporting statistic sites available, trying to find this exact data, and sadly it does not show that. 
For example, the How Sweet release, Japan only accounts for 23% of streams which is not anywhere near as many streams as Twice's most recent release Dive. Even if you add up all of the percentages of their releases, and what percentage Japan accounts for on each, it does not add up to them beating Twice as far as all time streaming numbers. 
NewJeans is not in any of the Spotify ranked Top Japanese playlists, that show the most streamed songs currently.
Not trying to be a twat, just kinda hate when some members of the fandom literally do stuff like this and trick other members into boasting, which leads to being attacked by another fandom.
Both Kworb which is public, and Songstats (which is an artist/label only accessible platform) show they do not match the all time data.
