I think Lisa could end up becoming bigger than even BLACKPINK

  • Do you think Lisa could end up becoming even bigger than BLACKPINK as a solo artist? 49

    1. No (37) 76%
    2. Yes (12) 24%

Yeah, I said it, and I meant what I said.

I've always thought it but never put it into words, because I didn't see a need to. But when I saw BLACKPINK during the Born Pink tour, I felt Lisa's presence and power in person and it was overwhelming in all the right ways.

And now that she's dropped a M/V and song that is truly her own production from her own label, I'm more sure of it than ever before--Lisa's true potential may have been suppressed in BLACKPINK and by the idol system this whole time.

She just has the "It Factor", and now that her career is in her hands, and she answers to nobody, since she's the boss, there is nothing holding her back now.

For what it's worth, I HATED Lalisa and was lukewarm on Money, but if Rock Star is a sample of what's to come, then I hope Lisa says goodbye to BLACKPINK forever and starts carving out her own legacy and career as a solo artist. Sorry not sorry.

  • Bigger than BP? Idk. BP is huge fandom wise and gp wise in a lot of countries. She'll need a really great team and dedication tbh. I always thought the girls have way more potential individually and as a group, but YGE made sure to give them the minimum in their music side.

I'm just happy she released a great song and I'm looking forward to all the pinks careers!!

  • Sometimes I can't tell if you're trolling, or you're serious.🤣

You know the saying: "A joke is funny for the 1st time, it's good for the 2nd time, but when you hear it for the 3rd time, it's boring." This is Lisa's career in a nutshell.

There's literally zero difference between her songs. It's like a Marvel movie. Same thing, with different characters and VFX.😂

  • U havent learn, haven't u

What am I supposed to learn?

  • Her company needs to fix this, that is a lot of potential sales they are missing out on.

I don't know if this is true or not, but proves that it's not that easy to just create your own label and be successful.

This is why Rose didn't want her own label, and signed with TBL and another company.

  • There are very good female rappers, if Lisa wants to enter that category she must rub shoulders with people from that environment but her fans compare her achievements with Korean artists, limiting her growth. Although, she must become a pop girl if she wants to have great recognition.

  • No. She has big fanbase, and can be a successful model. But music wise, she is nugu. All the big artists have big fandom but they are also popular for their music.

There was once upon a time when I thought "who the hell is this nugu, Sabrina Carpenter?" and now look at her.

BLACKPINK has accomplished a lot, but in the West, the bar wasn't set that high. Cupid is unironically the bar for female (or former in Lisa's case most likely) idol success in the west, and if Lisa makes the right moves and connects with the right people, she can match or surpass that. I firmly believe that.
