Who's bigger internationally twice or NewJeans?

Twice has a bigger international fan base and outperformed any 4th gen girl groups in terms of touring statistics. NJ is leading in terms of digital and streaming.
I guess it's Twice for going strong and standing up to numerous generations so far.
-
Once here. NewJeans CAN be bigger than Twice, for sure.
I think the real question though when asking "Will X be bigger than Twice?" is "Can X out-sustain Twice?" For me, the most impressive feat that Twice is doing is that they're still growing 7+ years after their debut, in an industry where talents are disposable and disbandment is the norm. Twice survived overworking, injuries, depression, organized hate posts--any combination of these can take out any group despite a stellar debut (see 2NE1)
For the dream to come true, I believe the proper call to action for Bunnies is to continue supporting NewJeans, protect them in social media, and always wish them the best of health.

Fandom wise = Twice
But I think NJ music is more known like they are everywhere on sns.

But looking at their latest numbers streaming isn't that good anymore right?

I'll go with Twice then. Their touring numbers are big big.

Oh God… we will never be free

The songs also need to go viral in every platform because Hybe "payola" can only do so much, lol.

Okay I'm literally a once I love twice everyone in the voting is being delulu..... Did not ask for bigger fandom. Then stray kids and seventeen would be bigger than aespa and new jeans internationally but they aren't they just have fangirls.
So I meant overall to a general audience who is bigger. It's definitely newjeans... Or is it

Even I would never claim NewJeans is bigger globally than Twice yet. Fandom wise
Their music is WAY more popular than Twice's globally though, and they are SIGNIFICANTLY more popular in Korea.
I think those are fair statements.

But I wasn't even talking about fandom wise I was talking about general hype and popularity..
Ofc a group nearly 10 years into their career will have a strong fandom. Who's bigger internationally is the question.

If you're not talking fandom, then it's easily NewJeans.
Their numbers, domestically and abroad, are exponentially better than anything Twice has done in nearly 4 years.
They got two stages at Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve for crying out loud.

But like here in Brazil Twice is bigger and I think in LATAM overall they are bigger, in Asia they are obviously bigger, in Europe and USA that idk.

but you also said success. I don't think it's inaccurate to say that Twice has accumulated more success to date then NewJeans when only counting internationally.

twice have been in the industry for almost a decade and are more well established/have a bigger international fandom and have been active with comebacks for a while.
it’s impressive how they continue to consistently release music and tour even this far into their career without any notable hiatuses.
newjeans are easily one of the most popular groups of the 4th gen but they are still a pretty young kpop group and haven’t established themselves as much. they are definitely more popular/trendy in korea currently.
but i also think the top groups of the third gen like bts, bp & twice overall just had higher peaks especially with international fans. i think kpop since then has kind of fallen off to an extent.

I mean right now anyway. So it's meant for recent
-
I think NewJeans earlier songs are more known internationally than Twice's if we don't count Japan indeed
But if you're asking successful as a group, we have to take album sales and touring into the equation, which is unfair to NewJeans
For popularity of the groups... you have to take the fandom into account as well

Don't ask a question you don't want the answer to. You obviously already had your mind made up when you created this thread, and even went fishing for a particular answer by illogically excluding Japan. You deserved to have it blow up in your face.

Twice moves like a boy group now.
The general public doesn't check for their music anywhere near as much as they did during Twice's peak, but they have great touring and strong album sales.
That's literally traditional boy group performance metrics.
NewJeans has all of that (not at the scale of Twice when it comes to touring obviously), and the world is obsessed with their music.
Super Shy alone is easily the most critically acclaimed K-Pop song ever.
Like selfmate always says, it comes down to which metrics and criteria you value more.
For me, it depends on how you filter the conversation. "Overall popularity" is just too broad for me, because there's some nuance here.
Twice has the bigger fandom, but NewJeans have much greater popularity and love from the public (which is at an all-time high in Korea thanks to the MHJ/Hybe war).
You kind of have to caveat this.

I'm actually starting to get worried for you.... Not the same triggered person U were.

He's not pressed enough he's giving twice a lot of credit kinda boring

Exactly... Nobody would say NCT and Svt are popular internationally just because they have a bigger fandom than some when nobody outside of their fans even listens to their garbage.
