I doubt i’d wanna perform rn after the coachella situation. It’d suck to be so happy/excited to be able to be on a stage like that, only for the whole kpop world criticize their singing. Especially if it’s as well known in korea and as some makes it out to be.

So apparently HYBE’s rejecting invitations which is understandable. le sserafim were recently on the Korean news being called a national embarrassment to Korea. Illit has plagiarism accusations but nothing as severe as le sserafim.

The girls need a break, mentally take care of themselves, practice their singing and really focus on their hardcore fans. The general public does not support them right now so there’s no need to go to university festivals and potentially get boo’d off the stage lol

Hybe is probably purposefully rejecting the offers to put their image on rest. If they sang full live, they'd be dragged, If they lipsynced/used backtrack they'd be dragged for 'hiding' their vocals, there's no win.

In my opinion, the best decision.
