That's what I said to someone thinking about going to the concert in this forum b4, it bounds to get cheaper
-
-
Anyways, seats are perishable which means if unsold just goes to waste.
It's basic revenue management. You lower prices to sell our remaining, better some revenue than nothing.
They still sold 90% of it at standard price, for this stadium at this size at say a 152 average rate, you're still looking at nearly 9million dollars even if not sold out. -

I'm not even a Once by a long shot but holy shit dude, your screenshot buries some important stuff...
I went to: https://www.stubhub.com/twice-…ent/152731377/?quantity=2 to see whats available.
My red X's are showing roughly where the remaining seats are...The DREGS. The literal nosebleeds.
Yeah they are remaining tickets going cheap, but they are that way for a damned reason. They aren't good seats. They aren't desirable seats.
If you're a Once travelling from out of town to see them, you don't want to spend the time and effort to sit THERE. If you're a local, maybe, but even then...
And I mean this from a perspective of any concert go'er. Those seats are likely just shit.
It really isn't the gotcha ya think it is.
Plus Stubhub? A ticket RESELLER?So people reselling their tickets in dud seats? Not even official selling?
Dude, your head. A stinky toilet. Flush it.

See for yourself. Tickets going for less than $40 online seems crazy to me.

They gonna get drag in twt for sure
Why? So everyone can drag the draggers for the numerous concerts their favs have failed to sell out?
-
Great job! That's a big stadium and it's basically a sell-out.

It's just a toxic way of how one chooses to live their lives and their mentality in life.
There are 2 types of people in this world. When someone see something they like, say your neighbors car.1.) There are the types that will think how they can one day buy that car and the steps necessary to do so.
2.) There are the type that wishes their neighbors car gets into an accident.
When your happiness relies on external factors, you're always going to be miserable because you cant control external factors.
When i have a few minutes to spare and I go on Twitter, I spend those few minutes hoping to see something positive about my faves and find joy in that. The OP, and trolls of similar style, chooses to spend their time looking up other peoples faves and hoping to find joy in the negative. It's a miserable way of existing. -
That's after encore, people could've left already by that time. They still have 100% tickets sold on every concert they had with born pink tour.

Before people call me out for being biased. Yes I am.
But, it has to do with the way tickets are sold and resold.
It was pointed out by everybody.
Scalpers buy them (quite a few are bots) then resell them at a very high price.
Then they cut their losses by selling as low as possible, whilst keeping the seat empty.
The fact that those seats are pretty much in the nose bleeds speak a lot.

Go check their touring data. Which twice failed to maintain, a 100% ticket sold
-

They count the tickets sold, it could be someone bought several tickets in which btw common in concerts.. It would totally still count as sold out. For twice, it's a double whammy. Not jam packed and not sold out

Several thousand tickets you mean? Who is buying all those tickets that are very obviously going unused? Lisa's boyfriend?

This topic is so ignorant. And I think that is actually the perfect word to describe it and not an insult.
It's Concert Ticket 101 to know that prices will often plummet right before the show starts.
Some people even strategize around this very common knowledge as a high risk and potentially high reward approach to getting tickets.
I went to four different stops on Mamamoo's tour last year, and for two of them, I could've gotten better seats for significantly less than I paid for the seats I ended up with. But FOMO and downside potential are powerful forces.
tl;Dr who tf gloats and trolls over something that happens frequently to some of the biggest artists
-
-
isn't that just supply and demand???
-
OMG, this is so well-said.
Something that annoys me a lot is that when some people do good deeds or nice things for others, some people then start nitpicking at it:
"Why did you do it in this way?"
"Why did you not do it for this or that group of people?"
And I'm like: WTF, you did nothing yourself for anyone, but you'd like to drag those people down that do? That is very typical of type 2.) style people.
