They thought some of their most celebrated records would never even be touched, and then here comes a group breaking Spotify records left and right, putting song after song on the Billboard Hot 100, and about to snatch that Billboard 200 record too.
It's the same behavior they criticized 2nd gen stans for back when the 3rd gen groups were on the rise.

NJ fans post NJ record threads all day everyday and IVE fans don't care.
IVE fans post about an IVE record and NJ fan comes in with "enjoy it while you can cause it won't last long". Way to congragulate your fellow kpop fans lol

There was no mention of NewJeans, until someone asked if a song could challenge the IVE record, and it was an IVE fan who first responded.
I offered my take on it, and said IVE fan questioned my logic. Hence the argument.
Go find literally any other IVE achievement thread and see how many times NJ fans comment in them.
Now go look at my NJ threads, or any of them, and see the shitshow that usually occurs.

She just didn't want the group to get scolded. Reveluvs sent those protest trucks to make SM take notice that mistreating Red Velvet is not okay. I don't see how that's being annoying or toxic? That's just standing up for injustice and wanting to support your favorite group so one can have a better fan experience.
Nah their Red side is similar to f(x)'s experimental concept, at least earlier on in their career.

I listened to Pink Tape and Red Light a ton. I've never felt RV's songs could've passed as f(x) songs.

RV is a senior group who has had PLENTY of comebacks. What more do fans want? They are treating the members like toddlers at a daycare. Those are grown women.
