I'm not on twitter or any other social media but judging by bop/flop thread people from various fandoms didn't like it and discussion was civil. I didn't notice any hate. Or maybe people here are just nice lol

In twitter, blinks mostly are disappointed and hating on YGE. Bunnies keep posting NJ kcharts debut as an indirect shade to BM debut and others arguing about which is worse Batter Up vs O.O

this is not true though a big part of blinks are supporting them I would say a big part of their fandom are them

just the main sites are already trashing the debut, i see the same level on NJs. The only difference is that HYBE is trying new styles on MVs, without boxed sets. The are the same age, but they talk about them like grown people.

But the quality of the music is the same....yet every one is compairing BM with BP, instead of compair with NJ, or Aespa, or Ive.

For example like in Nj debut, none of the members stand out on their debut.

Some of these other groups had the luck to have a good Visual or Center. Maybe BM lost one and they should have picked a member and try to give her a highlight. I think Rora could be the one

Rora is pretty and a Korean Member. We all know that Knets are not prone to stan a forigne as a main.

But the ass hole of Papa YG made that stupid move of casting away 2 members, and calling them the pitty vote, just to give a twist to the show he made of BM selection. That came back to bite him in the ass.

Also both Japanese members are Rappers, but they don`t stand out. In general all the members look awkward on their shoots. No one is eating the camera. Of course, they are most minors, and still green

i also think so many people downplay BlackPink so much, they think it is easy to have their career. So why if the have the same kind of MVs, the same stylings, the same everything...they are better. Cos you can`t buy, copy or replicate the IT factor. And BP has it.

And it is very infair to claim just because BM is from the same company that BM can have the same IT factor, when other groups from YG didn`t have it.

Same reasons some blackjacks hated BP

I don't think blinks care about them that much to start hating on them. People just don't like the song.

They are. Barely anyone here attacks on personal level and to me that's nice. People also call out others who drags other groups. Discussions can get heated but all in all, they are nice. Except for that one new user who thinks that attacking on personal level is the right way to go
