YG Applies For Trademark Of "G-Dragon" So That GD Won't Be Able To Use This Name If He Fails To Renew With Them

Not sure why people are surprised. The only time companies transfer trademark/rights/IP to the idols when they leave is when it's worthless.

Why are they so bitter though? can they still make money off the name alone? I thought they were somewhat in good terms with GD but I guess not
