so the comments there are seriously WRONG!~

how can you go to internet and write something like:

    "the men in front row"

"let the girls sit front row"

    "why is it all men?"

"ugh just look at that front row"

"I'll be mad as hell if those would be my fans"

    "it's creepy"

"the audience was a little bit a jump scare to be honest"

    "why is it old men?"

  • twitter kpop fans are insane and you can always expect this kind of reaction about male fans. they want unpopular groups to be supported but only by the ones they fancy, i guess they rather see those groups disband than see men carry their fandoms.

  • don't get psyoped into this whole men vs women dumbass government funded corporate media narrative or you'll end up like all these hopeless cases on twitter lol may god have mercy on their soul and i'm not even religious

  • There's a visceral reaction to seeing older fans with young girls and most people can't help but feel the ick, I kinda felt it too from this pic I'm not gonna lie. I think because people aren't normalized to the idea? There are mostly not minor members as well though and honestly if you are keeping a respectful distance and are just genuinely enjoying you shouldn't be made to feel bad about experiencing one of your interests. Especially since if the fans in this picture were conventionally attractive you know there would be a lot less complaining. I think it will just take time for Kpop fans to get used to this since the concern does come from an initial point of validity.

  • It was my first feeling as well, I know some of the TripleS girls are minors, I am not sure if there are minors in this subgroup.

It does feel icky, but this picture is better than a picture of them in from of a half empty room.

  • Luckily they are not as popular as Newjeans so the comments are not that vile yet. It's actually still very nice compared to what I read under Newjeans post.

Imagine calling a group of girls as pedophile group while saying protect minor as the same time and for things they can't control.

  • lol we all know those TW comments would be different if it were a bunch of handsome young men like Justin Beiber in the front row instead of attendees at the local anime convention ;judgingpepe:

Also, if these are considered uncle fans, i must look like Colonel Sanders to those TW users lol, the fans look no older than like 25 on average. They CANT be 40+, they just cant be lol.

Yeah that’s the thing they look like typical the old men who have no social interaction with women :teeheek:

  • Everything about this picture is sending me

The location looks like a community hall and the set up awful.

You then just have a bunch of old blokes which is all the members will basically see as it’s such a small gathering

Is this really what some kpop agencies are out here selling :pepe-narrow-eyes:

  • I got to say, seeing the fans was a wake up call lol.

Kinda looks like the crowd you'd see at an anime or gamer conventions. This is probably what you would see for most GGs who don't have a certain audience size or trendiness. Unfortunately, these kind of crowds are usually seen as "other" or "outsider" crowds, so the comments are understandable. I can't say that it didn't give me pause when I saw it. Even as someone who has been an anime fan for most her life and has been in crowds like this. I guess it's weird seeing it in connection to KPOP and these young teen girls.

The comments are very mean though, and I feel bad for the people there who really are just there having good and innocent fun. Trying to enjoy and support a group they love, who they might not see again, and not hurting or bothering anyone.

I was going to make a funny (somewhat mean) comment until I saw what people were saying, and I really looked at the faces in the crowd. Yeah, it sucks. It's expected, but I really hope none of the non-weirdoes in the crowd saw the mean things people said about them.
