Why are fans so bothered by Giselle?

I feel like in most big groups there's just that one member everybody likes to pick on for no reason and she's one of them sadly, the n word scandal, tendency to fall behind the others in performances (she's kinda better now but it was really apparent during Girls era) the fact that she's slightly bigger body shape-wise than the rest of the group are probably the biggest contributors to her hate

Literally just this. Karina/Winter get the best styling and Ning Ning is just a decent visual.
Giselle is average at best (for kpop) and gets the worst styling.
Plus her obvious lack of training compared to everyone else in the group.
That’s what happens when you insert someone into a group and they show their weakness off the bat, and the company chooses to try to do the bare minimum, instead of being proactive in getting her fans (like with better styling).

About the n word thing don't hate me but a lot of people genuinely did not now that you shouldn't say the word at all people only thought that the hard r is the one you are not supposed to use. It didn't help that the n word was used so much in music a lot of people considered it slang like "homie" and not a a slur that anyone who isn't black should say.
Ofcourse most people had the awareness not to say but a lot of people don't so for Giselle it's more that she lacked awareness then did it out of hate. Unlike Wendy she apologized and never repeated.

in every group there will be one member getting a lot of (random) hates. Giselle just happened to be that member because
1) she's lacking in dance (she made mistakes often)
2) her body size is slightly bigger than the other 3, hence she always get fatshamed
3) boring outfits, least lines giving her less chance to standout
4) AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, she is allegedly the relatives of LSM's girlfriend. She is the last one to join aespa, hence people widely speculated that she got in due to relationship.
