not boring but definitely all over the place. it's frustrating to watch such a talented group of girls with their potential just being wasted on crappy music. shame on jyp. you can do the weird switch ups but still make them sound good and cohesive like aespas next level. they desperately need a few good producers. none of their groups have been releasing good songs for a while now

I couldn't really understand why the snsd members where mad at Sooyoung for putting too much energy in some of her move just to do hair flip

But seeing this gif of haewon and jiwoo i do get it

It looks like they didn't learn the same choregraphy almost because jiwoo had more bounce to her move which is something haewon doesn't do

Experienced main dancers usually adapt to the energy of the group. Of course, they can outshine the group members if they want, but then an uncoordinated and very mismatched image emerges. Jinni must be really balancing Nmixx performances. Because after Jinni left, their performances started getting criticized. They all dance absolutely differently and look mismatched. I didn't think Jinni would make such a difference.

There isn't much you can work with when the songs are crap.

Considering the crap material that they have got, they are doing pretty well. Their "sales" are almost the same as Ive's "sales" lol. Once they get good songs they are going to leapfrog certain groups.

They are doing well for rookies considering how their songs are. I find their performances rather entertaining and their dance skills are pretty strong.

they're a talented group, so it's just about getting the execution right

In the sense that it feel like a group that JYP created with the best trainee left in the agency

But without really thinking of the harmony in the group and a concept who would fit all of them

It actually feel like half of the group was set to debut with a more fresh concept (haewon, lily, sullyoon)

And the rest of the groups is more fit to debut in a more girl crush gg

And the fact that i have this image of the group never made me able to truly 100% enjoy their performance cuz it always feel weird to my eyes

With Jinni, their performance looks harmonious and powerful. In the centre, Sullyoon seems like a poor pick. Even if she overdances sometimes, Kyujin should definitely stay in the center. I think the reason why you don't like their performance is their songs. If their songs were better, I'm sure they would have performed the songs more fondly. Dice and Love Me Like are songs that I like, but they are not at the level of other 4th generation girl group songs. Their voices usually make the songs interesting.
