I mean being completely objective with no bias I can say I like Twice more than BP. But yes the days of MR removed videos was the most hilarious shit. Those videos ruled Kpop fandom internationally for like several years.

I think I was most objective right before I got into kpop. When I wasn't a fan of any group really, I always see people bring up example of all these kpop singers who are supposedly the strongest vocally and in my opinion, none of the kpop idols sing that well compared to people I see on talent shows like Americas Got Talent, The Voice, etc.

And even till this day, I still don't feel anyone in kpop really sings that well. That's just my opnion.

Rosé viocals have improved whenever I watch a vocal coach reaction or something they always point that out ( and they don't know anything about blackpink) I feel people used to come for her because she was also more stylistic before

I remember those days, the Cheer Up one was huge and people swore by MR removed being a science....well, let me tell you when the D4 MR removed dropped...

But the reality is even upper level k-pop groups are mostly mid in talent, be serious. Like arguing and championing singing above all else, when the K industry doesn't even put singing on that level, is such the behavior of an SM fan staning a finished group.

oh no the improvement part is my opinion ( based on her solo and acoustic performances .

I'm talking when they react to blackpink's music her voice in particular get good responses. I think kpop fans were harsh on her because she used to use the cursive style before a lot.

Second and third generations stans used to fight a lot over talent and as a talent stan, I have always disliked that. It was just another « My faves are better than yours » contest except that now it’s all about achievements and who is an it girl/boy and has the « it factor ».

3rd gen is more entertaining than 4th gen in terms of fights and that's an objective fact

Never thought about it but you're right, I haven't seen an MR Removed in years. It seems like encores took their place for the most part (TWICE impact )
