I'm sorry, I'm not good at giving advice. What has worked for us might not work for somebody else. All we have done is support one another, give each other space to enjoy activities alone or with friends/family. Accept each other, learn to compromise. Tell them you love and appreciate them often. Admit when you're wrong, don't let arguments fester. Like every couple, we've had our ups and downs but I find as I'm getting older, I have mellowed and am more tolerant. Hope this helps.
