... and rightfully so
I don't understand how a group that is nearly a decade old only has 2 full albums in their catalog, the last one having been released in 2017 (!). It feels like every time they have a comeback it's meant to be a quick cash grab with a bunch of songs taken from the shelf and randomly put together in a poorly assembled and rushed EP.
Their 9th anniversary is coming up (August 1st) and SM has nothing planned, as per usual. In fact, they have been radio silent about Red Velvet for some time now. After the rushed world tour which was a disaster in terms of promotion and preparation, full album plans getting delayed over and over again, very little content from the group uploaded on YT and minimal promotion when they have comebacks, it's very understandable that Reveluvs are very much over it.
It's so sad to see that a group who has a fandom which is eager to support them and hungry for content, and also members who WANT to release music and promote, keeps on being ignored by their own company. It's not like they are "has-beens". They are one of the most iconic kpop groups both domestically and internationally. FMR and Queendom were very solid hits in Korea and the girls are still very popular over there, despite the lack of activities.
I hope we are all wrong and that shortly news about their cb or anniversary event will come out, but I highly doubt it...
