New gen doesn’t start just because of a debut that’s doing well. There’s a group breaking records with their debut every other year. And you’ll only be able to tell in retrospect

We are in 4.5 generation right now, the peak of this generation with Ive and NJ. Just like how Twice and BP were the 3.5 generation and represented the peak of the third generation.

Baemon and whatever groups debut next year will be the last of the 4th generation.

2025 will begin generation 5, seven years after 2018 which was the start of generation 4. That will be the year when BTS comes back as a full group again. By the end of 2025, we will also have our first bonafide superstar idol with not a drop of Asian blood, i'm talking a white/black/brown idol that will reach the level of a Sana/Seulgi/Rose/Karina/Yujin. I think we will also have our first queer idol star come out that's not nugu by the end of 25, someone at the level of NMIXX/Kepler/Boyz/MX/Stayc or above.
