In what country do you only earn 900$ a month? Thats nothing you can make in most countries since rent is allready this price for many people. So you pay rent and starve yourself each month huh?

Too here, but it depends on where in Germany you live. The south is on average 1/3 more expensive than the north but it also heavly depends on village, small town or big city. Like my rent is 350€ (not counting gas and electricity since this is a seperate bill) in a month, but if I would move just 60km away the same rent could only give me a half as big apartment or I would pay twice for the same apartment size. Than going to places like Munich who is one of the 10 most expensive cities in entire Europe you might pay 3 times the price for the same apartment or even more but it also sometimes depends on the landlord. I mean I once saw a video on how Munich reported a landlord and said he has to pay to the city a loat of money cause he apparently broke the law of keeping the city expensive by offering cheap rent o.o ooop what the fuck. The guy didn't understood the issue in the video, cause he was like "people move away since its too expensive so I just wanted to make my 10 apartments cheaper for everyone" and they asked the people who rented the apartments and they said they are thankfull for the cheap rent. Aparently the city of Munich wants that the landlord increases the 500€ rent a month to 850€ ... thats such a big change

I was using GDP as a quick estimate, but I've looked into things a bit further, and according to this article: The average global personal income is $9,733 per year.
So if anything, it appears that using per capita GDP *overestimates* average incomes.
