    Replys:

    1. I actually understand why they wouldn't greet a school bully

    2. People don't want to greet sunbaes they hate you know

    3. From taking a jab at the member who left, to supporting the member who caused school violence, to taking a jab at his hoobaes. Can someone stop him already?

    4. You've seen your fans harass others so relentlessly and cruelly for something you said, and then you say something like this again...?

    5. How does he know if they actually said hello back in the first place or not?

    6. He said it in such a way that incites his fans to hate on others. This is honestly so not cool;;

    7. Did he misunderstand the fans' question?...

    8. Why is he saying this to his fan? He must have a lot of things to say about his Parisian fans instead but...

    9. Why are his fans only hating on female idols?ㅋㅋ F*cking annoying

    10. His group has a school violence assailant so he has no right to talk about who and who didn't greet him. Also, this group and fans are like singers like fans, they look like thugs...

    11. I think it was rude of him to make such a comment about a performance unless he was intentionally trying to be specific. On a side note, the issue of greeting juniors comes up quite a bit among senior groups so it does seem that it's a prevalent issue.

    12. They have a member who torments girls in his group so his fandom is also only tormenting girls. Like singers like fans

    13. I wonder why his fans think that this issue so deserving of receiving hateㅋㅋㅋ go hate on school violence instead

    14. He told his fans that his hoobae groups aren't greeting him??ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

    15. That female idol group is pitiful. Foreign fans, please don't hate on female idols!!

  • kcelebs need to learn how to beef properly like western stars

If you got a problem with someones, call out that person specifically and directly. That way atleast they have a chance to address you and defend themselves.

Dont be vague and call open season on like everyone attending the same events as you

  • Nothing different than the expected. Stray Kids' articles are often like this over simple issues.

If the people in question can't even answer back a "hello" when you greet them and ignore your existence, how do you expect them to be open about what you have to say?

  • maybe he likes younger generation bowing him to him. otherwise he took this personally. probably lost some sleep over this. its been a month too.

How do you know it was personal?

Some people get over simulated more easily, with all the noise and lights in the concert + being tired and possible jet lag some over simulated teenager could have just missed him in the crowd.

Look, I'm not saying they are rude and It's impossible to exist other circustances going on. Bang Chan himself mentioned the possibilities of him being overthinking, or the other idols not noticing or maybe they were just shy and that's okay.

But these are assumptions. The only factual situation is that he was ignored and just like there are assumptions that could justify the behavior, there's the possibility they really just didn't want to answer. And the second alone often holds people back to try approachment cause they want to avoid going though an uncomfortable situation again.

My comment is also regarding the general status of kpop idols and how they handle beef with each other

This situation isnt unique, idols are always super vague about who wronged them which is followed by witch hunt of random people by their fandoms. Its high time they take note from western celebs and handle their problems directly instead of opening a wide field.

I respect your opinion. I disagreed with the solution you proposed. First, because It was not a isolated situation, It was multiple ocasions he's been noticing through the years and It was a general observation about some idols from a younger generation, the Mubank Paris was just an example.

Second, because even though I'm in favor of dialogue to solve issues most of the time, I can understand why It wouldn't work on this one specifically, for what I said previously and what I said on this comment.

  • And his fans said that he's innocent, he just want to vent, he just a honest little guy, lol. I guess he need to find a real friend irl to vent things like this rather than bring it to internet. The last time he do it, he make an innocent group and idol being witch hunt by his fans and he do it again for the second time with no guilty. At least be a man and directly call out that group name if he's that brave lol, but again he let his fans do the dirty job and leave.

We all know nobody like a senior with superiority complex like this that always complaining about their junior. Maybe take a hint 😉

and his solution incited his fandom to make deep fakes of a 18 year old

great use of platform and influence I guess?

Please it’s pretty obvious that people ready to do something so disgusting were just looking for an excuse to act like that. Just like you’re are just looking for an excuse to trash him/them.

They’re nothing outrageous with what he said and any normal person would agree.

  • This wasn't a solution, just someone sharing his thoughts and feelings. How other people react to it say more about them than Chan himself, who didn't mention anyone.

He KNEW exactly what his 'venting' would cause. Everytime an idol says anything, their fans ALWAYS react a certain way. In this case he got "disrespected" so of course it's basically asking them to do something about it. Fans never stay quiet

For him to exactly KNOW what his 'venting' would cause, he'd have to be aware of K-pop fans perception on IVE's behavior and frequent bullying relate to this issue on social media that would make It being linked directly to them.

But he knowing it or not might be just your personal assumption that holds as much power as someone saying they're sure he's talking about said group.

He may not be able to predict specifics but he obviously knew it would lead to some sort of witch hunt by his fans. How many countless times has it happened where fans go on the attack, even for the littlest of thing. Especially in one where he got personally “snubbed”

Girl/dude you're literally making your own assumptions atp. It's not Chan's fault if your mentality is problematic

  • People miss one important point here.

New Groups were always instructed to bow or at least great their Sunbaes show respect etc. It’s a cultural thing. So obviously once you reach Sunbae status yourself after so many years, you expect the same treatment.

So if it’s a wildly known and accepted practice to great your Seniors and you know not doing so is considered disrespectful… of course you feel a certain way when it happens to you.

He didn’t mentioned any names because it wasn’t the main topic he wanted to talk about in the first place, it didn’t really matter, he was just sharing his thoughts.

To say this is inciting fanwars even though he mentioned no groups says more about those who do the witch-hunt, cause why are u assuming he is talking about a specific Group?

Like he may not even have been talking about a female group, how would he anticipate that they will link it to Ive? Kpop stans think Kpop idols are perpetually seated on stan twitter and are partaking in fan wars like they are and know every drama happening on stan twitter.

  • He is actually disgusting, a 25 year old man inciting his fans to go out and hate on underage girls. Dont give me the bullshit of he can have his opinion. He has done this before and had to ask his fans to stop sending hate to people. He knows exactly what happens when he says this shit. This time his fans have gone as far as to make deep fakes of the girls and post gore porn on their related posts.

    you're projecting

You have to start projecting everyone thinks the way you do when you start a thread.

  • To me, knetz were the asshole here.

Idk much about korean culture, but they made a big deal about Momoland for not bowing to BTS, why are they being hypocritical now just because "bully is on his team"

Because people are fickle bastards. Had that face on the screen been Namjoon everyone would have considered whatever reaction by. Army to be 1000% justified. This all the mentality of who they find perfect. Had this simple rant been delivered by BTS or an MC like jaesuk suddenly everyone would be 1000000% on their side regardless of what "fans" reactions were. Also the people accusing him of knowing fans will act this way are stupid. He cannot account for nor is responsible for fans actions, idol's do not sit on Stan Twitter and "know" all the toxicity and predictive patterns of how all fans around the world will react to something.

It's even funnier because these same hypocrites will say " i want idols to be human, hey be our friend share everything with us". They do exactly as you tell them and they get burned for it, and you wonder why they act like robots and dissociate and won't open up and then you cry an QQ if they have serious mental illness or suicide 😂🤡🤡 when "fans" have literally been responsible for every fuckin last one of these idols since 2017 these bullshit actions are directly responsible. Less than 5% of their problems stem from their actual agency/job the rest of ot is fans and bs "public" perceptions

  • How about rather than call out people who have a problem with a grown man utilising his fans as a weapon to facilitate his fragile ego you actually call out your own fandom for the disgusting shit they are doing. You won't of course because you choose to support a group that is hoem to a member who exclusively bullied females.

once again you're projecting and putting words in my mouth cause you cant control your anger issues. Also stays on twitter did call out tiktok stays who were assuming it was your favs. Most of us dont like tiktok stays in the first place cause they always set skz up. If you dont know anything pls dont say things entirely based on your own assumptions. If dives reported that tiktok account and the ones who were accusing ive i dont think this wouldve become a big of an issue. Tiktok stays are like 1% of stay fandom. I saw some stays report their accounts multiple times. And you definitely dont care about women to begin with. If you did you wouldn't victimize women in the first place. And the way y'all throwing bullying accusation without relevant source is also a proof that yall dont care about bullying as an issue and women as well. It's not the gotcha moment you think it is.

There isn't any Stray Kids fan here insulting IVE to be called out in the first place. Can't say the same about the other side, who is insulting unprovocked even a member that has absolutely nothing to do with this.

It’s not about assumptions, it’s reality. All idols know about hate culture. They’ve seen it, they experienced it. Of course, those fans are fully responsible for their own actions. But it’s not like he is completely faultless. It was careless of him to antagonize some hoobae group at Music Bank in Paris. If he spoke in a more general way, that wouldn’t be an issue, but he was putting targets in several groups with that statement.

He doesn’t deserve hate for that either, but it should be called out, to both him for not being more careful and the fans spreading hate.

I'm pretty sure you didnt even watch the video where he was talking about greeting. He did speak in a general way. He mostly said how he felt uncomfortable and found it rude when someone didnt greet back. That's all he said. He didnt target any group it was a general discussion about his experience and then he moved on. He wasnt crying and begging for attention the way yall painting him to be solely based on your own assumptions. Can he not share his experience with his fans without offending ppl? It's not his fault that ppl took it negatively cause they have twisted minds. He definitely didnt mean to hurt anyone.
