For me kpop is just a form of entertainment, not much different than me gaming or me watching movies/series etc

I feel sorry for everybody involve in this silly madness for charts, sales, talents, visuals, etc, etc.

Being a kpop stan is the least of my worries boo

I think it's embarrassing how invested I am in discussing it, but can't help myself. It's fun

A bit as I'm certainly out of the norm at 54. Not too many fans at my age.

P.S. Don't say you're never too old for something as in the case of K pop, that is not the case. It does have an expiry date and my age would be considered TOO OLD.

The guilt tripping and being ashamed of liking a hobby like kpop is weird.

I never understood this. No one else shies away from liking any other hobby they do like but kpop fans shuns each other into silence to keep the love to themselves.

im proud of being a fan. altho maybe sometimes i may talk ab kpop w those who aren't interested but they pay attention to me :)

in the money-wise aspect, most of the albums i have gotten are gifts (except 4 of which i bought; currently i own 9 which are 2 MOTS 7 versions 2 &3, Butter Peaches & Cream versions, PROOF, BTS The Best, MOTS Persona Ver.1 , MAXIDENT and GIRLS)

and the concert tix. for Stray Kids (which were floor) were also a gift (b-day one)

SAME. This is why Im not phased by idols or the fandom drama bs and don't care what idols say or do because I see it just like any other medium of entertainment. Thinking like you or me is how normal people are supposed to think about this shit. Two positives one you live a healthy stress free life and two you don't contribute to nor add to an idols mental health by judging them etc they know from a glance that you are likely a true fan like them for their content and don't care about what they show about themselves
