I don't think Kazuha's nationality prevents her from being a it girl. She is very talented and is developing very quickly in everything. She's definitely versatile. I mean she has potential i think.

I cant see anyone else making samsung selfies, a pizza ad, or a challenge for a cosmetic product go viral besides Wonyoung.

She's the it girl because she make NUMBERS for the brands she promote.

A pretty face or popularity is not enough for that. At least not in the organic way.

Karina was a bit of a mixed bag imo with how little aespa were pushed individually and in general but now that it seems that SM's starting to get their shit together and start doing solo promo I think she could very easily catch up with the newer/younger girls if they play their cards right.
