I wonder how much radioplay it will get because I would see a kpop song be scheduled for a radio impact but it barely did anything. Maybe it being an english song will be an advantage on radio...

I feel like this group is the black swan moment no one knows how to react to. It very well may become the biggest Korean pop hit since Dynamite, but because it's a pretty unknown group without a core following, no one is quite acknowledging it as a huge moment for K-Pop. It already has an insane streaming story of consistent gains across the globe because it truly has gone viral.

there's a tiny bit less bias against kpop ggs than bgs especially bts so with that and the numbers (with the song attaining both kpop and non kpop audience) it could do some spins.

I'm glad it's working out so well, the song is lovely.

I do hope 50 50 will hear or sing the song in a few years and not hate it, hit songs like that get performed so many times most groups/artists can't stand it anymore

If they keep rising...

If they were American, around this time, their company would be pushing them hard. They'd be doing the late night circuit, getting commercial/tv placements, and getting prepped to become a household name. If they were American and had a big US label behind them, Cupid would probably become the song of summer 2023.

Since their Korean though, who knows what the full impact will be.

personally, it just sound like any other typical chill tiktok song that u see over cooking videos, makeup, unboxing etc

its not particularly special but maybe that's the selling point, it blends with what its trendy

I remember excitement about how this or that BTS song would get lots of radio play now and it got a tiny bit that Western fandoms would refer to as 'a lot' but was way less than even some starting American artists.

I hope it really gets this 'huge' radio play, but I doubt it.

In the end, it's still competing with American songs and I don't think they like that.

American songs have gotten radio in other countries for many decades, so don't see why it can't be the opposite for one or two Korean songs once in a while.

I'm surprised they're not more invited to shows and interviews in korea. What they have achieved is such a big deal.

They are just killing it, it's so amazing. Everytime update that they are rising I feel so happy   Now they are expected at top 40, i really want them in top 10 hot 100
