Especially in 2nd gen, we get a lot of it girls like Hyeri, Seolhyun, Naeun but people seems to forget about them already. We have Hwasa and Arin 3rd gen yet people didn't really include them anymore when people talked about the it girl. I noticed if they slightly to reduce their appearance from media, they will easily forgotten or replace while those from big 3, people always remember them no matter how they're not really active.

I think it's less about their company and more the general sense that one's time in the sun is fleeting, big 3 included.
Many of the names you've listed have not been forgotten. They are remembered by those who were there when they had their chance to shine.
It is that they are no longer talked about by the new generation of fans and those new fans have their own stars and idols to adore
This happens to all. Even big 3 idols do not escape the passage of time, the come of new generations, and the fleeting nature of the spotlight.

What’s interesting is that I watch kdramas off and on from Netflix just clicking randomly on the list and seen dramas with Kim Sejong(Gugadan), Seolhyun(Aoa), and Gyuri(Fromis9). However I never see Suzy or Yoona. Never seen any of their kdramas. Just wondering if they have taken a break? I would think their dramas would be recommended or them being everywhere. Or are their dramas not that popular?

Yoona last drama that I remember was Big Mouth 2022 and it's quite successful too. And for suzy, the last drama I remember from her was Start up in 2020 and it's doing pretty well. I'm not really sure for now.

The last Suzy drama on Netflix was Start-Up in 2020. It was very popular back then. I think Yoona’s dramas are not available on Netflix, I only see The K2 which is a 2016 drama. They both have new dramas coming out this year and iirc both will be available on Netflix.

I think it's more about what makes them got it girl status. If they got it because a viral event it will only last max 1 year at the top. People will move on from them the moment they are stop appearing in TV shows regularly.

Seolhyun -> viral ads cut board
Naeun -> viral adidas leggings ads
Hwasa -> viral eating gopchang in I Live Alone
Arin -> I don't think she ever got it girl status
It was different for Lee Hyori, Yoona, IU, Suzy, Jennie & Wonyoung.
