It’s shameful that people who were against debuting minors are now supporting SMNGG

  • That's just how kpop fans are. They preach how it's bad that minors are debuting, whcih i agree with, but completely forget about about age when they see a new face to Stan. I mean New Jeans have a 16 and 14 year old and now look how popular they are. YGSNSD already has a lot of interest and most of them are 16 or under. You can be sure if SMGG have young members if they start finding success early on they'll get a ton of new fans who suddenly don't care about them being minors.

The companies know fans actually like younger members hence why they keep debuting them. It's a vicious cycle.

  • yet, NCT DREAM is the most popular branch of NCT...so people are supporting them :pepe-use-head:

sm does not care about the heat as long as the cash flows :pepe-cha-ching::peperich:

NCT popularity boomed after all members have grown up tho :eyes:

And they always had the most interesting concepts and public friendly songs too :eyes:

I agree about SM not giving a f about ethics :huuh:

  • There's a ton of SM company stans out there. Many of them have opposing views about this. Unless you can pull up receipts and specify the ones guilty of this alleged double standard, it's just a broad generalization holding little to no weight.

This is some toxic logic right here. Are we suppose to condemn the members even as they release music as a adults while paying SM through supporting some other NCT unit of theirs? SM's cashflow would be secure in both scenerios, all you are suggesting is uselessly martyring the careers of 5 people.

i have writen a long respond, but you are not worth it....i have been in kpop for long enough to know an average kid (not famous) study arround 11 hours to get to go to a good university if they are lucky or smart enough, so they would be able to have in the future a 12 hours a day decent job.

And the ones who don`t, struggle for life with 2 or 3 jobs.

all kids in korea are overwork...get your facts right

the enviroment is toxic, but the life in korea for kids is toxic as a rule.

  • That's not a reason to throw hate at people for having debuted as minors years ago, while nevertheless paying the company that actually made that decision through a different subunit, whose music you may actually like less. Rather then just buying the albums you actually want. I don't understand why you are talking about studying or working two jobs, I was replying to your message about NCT Dream being the most popular NCT subunit. retroactively undoing NCT Dream's debut and sending back to university or a day job or two is not an option on the table and like you yourself said SM doesn't care as long as the cashflow keeps flowing.
