ITZY should be top 5. They sell more than GIDLE, have better YouTube views, and have similar digitals and spotify streams.
But you shouldn't remove GIDLE. LSF needs to prove themselves with one more comeback imo before they can get put up there. NewJeans is an exception because Hype boy, OMG, Ditto, and Attention are complete smashes.

Fearless literally passed Dalla Dalla’s longevity on Melon. And with Antifragile out performing both of Itzy’s title tracks last year combined on streaming, lol. They already proved that they will be over Itzy unless a miracle happens. And Gidle have more hits than Itzy now and in streaming and digitals last year it wasn’t close lmao. Itzy are living off of legacy alone.

Yeah.
ENHYPEN, despite kpop stans not liking them etc, they have a huge international fan base.
They had 2-3 viral songs, and been doing touring in arenas.
They definitely in the Top 3 for 4th gen boy groups
For sure, I thought I didn't see enhypen in the list but now I see, very loyal fandom as well despite their last comeback not smashing for everyone

All of that is true, ITZY didn't have their best year in 2022. But I'll remind you that everyone thought GIDLE were out of the running for top 4th gen girl group after Oh my god and HWAA flopped in Korea, and Soojin was removed. And then Tomboy happened.
It's way too soon to write ITZY off because after LOCO flopped in Korea, everyone thought they were done but Sneakers went viral due to Chaeryeong. It takes way more than 1-2 mediocre performances (ie Cheshire) to write ITZY off.
LSFM is a case of recency bias. They have 2 singles and both are huge hits, but that's all they have to their name as of now. If they can outsell ITZY by a decent margin and get another hit at FEARLESS-level or higher with their next album, then I'll concede ITZY not being top 5.
ITZY sold 2 million albums in one year, that's not something you can ignore at all just because they didn't have a smash hit last year.

In order to be #1, u need to be leading across all metrics
So there's really no definite #1 4th gen ATM, once they put out albums & hold a tour then it'll be clear
Or maybe it won't cause K-pop is just so much bigger now so more than 1 GG can Excell in any given metric only to be beaten by another with their next release/tour
