Blackpink did it in only 2 years (2018 album only debuted to like 180k sales or something to 2020 album). It's not that uncommon. Especially since BP's 2020 album every girl group's sales increased.

Growth doubled after Psycho and Monster. RV was successful with Quenndom CB in Korea and after that it was really good that FMR came without further delay. Sometimes you don't have to reach for something to truly appreciate its value. Also the Reveluvs grew up and got a job and contributed to this. The Reveluvs are very loyal fandoms, contrary to what you might think. I think there are definitely few groups with better music than RV in the kpop market. What I love about RV's music is that it doesn't get old no matter how much you listen to it, their albums never get old like aged wine. Their music and concept is like timeless

And RV have had their hit or miss music, but at least they have some quality, and charm on stage. Some members are more relatable to me than others. And i think that happens to many fans and occasional fans

aespa was able to sell more than a million. So SM made GOT so that aespa’s fans would stan RV too. Now aespa stans who are also RV stans buy RV’s albums. That’s my conspiracy theory.
