This doesn't even make sense bc let's say, why some armys criticized BP for being "models" when they didn't even care about BP music?
BP was scrutinized bc they were/are the most successful in this area where in kpop everything is a competition. Let's not act like BP also never showed their love for music. This narrative is so dumb and seeing how everybody is getting brand deals I'm see more and more salty people spreading it to freely praise their faves when they did the opposite to BP.

I would not stan my faves if they had a career like BP or if they were like BP. So its a huge assumption to think everyone wants less music and more fashion from their faves or appreciate the lack of effort.

BTS has shown enough of their artistry, getting some brand deals will not interfere with their music career.
One example:
Jimin will release an entire album and is using brand deals as an stepping stone for marketing his new solo endeavours.
He worked hard for the album, we saw it ourselves. Just with one album he will get more solo songs than certain group solos combined.
That's the difference between releasing just enough music to keep your fashion deals coming (bare minimum) and doing a fashion gig on the side of your artistic career.

Ahhh I remember those times when BTS were mocked for not having a brand deal! 😂 LoL! I would not trade this brands over music from my faves... And Yes, they have been doing music for this past 10 years... But lbr here, this brands been waiting for them since forever and now was given a go so they are now jumping to sign each one of them!
