New Jeans is cute and shiny and new. But the shiny and newness wear off pretty quickly. You need a faithful and ever growing fan base that grows along with the artist. NJ have a lot of hype but does that translate into longevity of a career.
Let’s Remember BTS is in their 10th year. Their level of popularity, accolades and artistic growth is unmatched. But the media needs a new darling to latch unto while BTS do their military service.

If you think Hybe is bigger than BTS or can afford to undermine BTS when BTS' fandom feeds their other groups...you are all kinds of dumb.
BTS made Hybe, Blackpink did not make YGE. There are fundamental differences between the two groups. BTS' fandom feeds Hybe, YG the company has its own fandom to feed its future groups just like it did when BP debuted and got the YG stans support. The power dynamics are very different when we talk BTS Hybe vs BP YGE. YGE does not rely on BP's fandom, Hybe though relies on BTS' fandom. This makes Hybe more vulnerable and BTS more powerful in this equation.
Oh and I am seated here too, to see what all YG ngg does. Hybe groups have had their hype come and go while BTS still remains a wall, hiatus or not. Let's see if YG ngg gets the same fate as Treasure

BTS have never been a media darling cause they were barely media played.
I would say its still better than what we had going in 2021 where Armys could never speak against Hybe groups without being called mantis and ganged upon. Tweets like in the OP would not even get agreebale engagement before and would be ratioed hard.
Trust me things are a lot better now than before when Hybe babies used to be a no go and we all had to blindly support them.

OP is just sharing that there is mediaplay and everyone else is giving their reaction. If you don't want to acknowledge the blatant mediaplay, just don't but don't tell others not to do so.
ARMYs are here for BTS, not for HYBE. So unlike you lot people won't change their reactions to situations depending on which company's groups are involved. Just because it's HYBE and HYBE group doesn't mean ARMYs will treat the situation differently.
Btw who even is making fuss about NewJeans mediaplay? No one. Neither here nor on twitter.
