Well, K-Pop only marginally qualifies as “music” anyway. Of course it is the members - if they are cute they can be forgiven for any number of terrible songs. Look how far Itzy has gotten.

For BTS and Bigbang, i fell in love with their music first. But for T-Ara i was stan because i interested in jiyeon first

The music first for BTS, Red Velvet, Apink. For Mamamoo, I really begin to stan them for their music with Egotistic but I had my eyes on them for a while because of their talent and their appearances on Immortal songs.

I used to think it was members but after seeing the effects of groups releasing songs I don't like, I'm realizing I value music more than I thought.

I think I must be both into the music AND the group but I think I have to like the music in order to give members the chance.

Music for me. BTS is one of the few groups whose music has 100% clicked with me. Usually I listen to groups music, but I don't even bother learning their names or watching their other content, but with BTS (and earlier TVXQ) there was something else.
