People who listen to only one boygroup but alot of girl groups why?

For me, I listen to a lot of girl groups because I prefer female vocals. While for bgs, I only listen to one because Im not interested in the others and my taste leans toward mainstream.

For me I find SHINee music has alot more in common with ggs rather than other bgs.

It's not like I don't listen to any boy groups, but they usually make hip-hop rap-intensive music, and they're very young. I don't think about being a fan of boy groups after the 3rd generation they are all too young. I think I can be more empathetic to girlgroup. But if there are title songs that I like , I will listen and add to my playlist. For example, the title songs of Skz and Txt are good, some of them are in my playlist. Also, I like vocal groups in general. Girl group music is more inspiring to me. Girl group music isn't overly rap-based. Even Blackpink's songs have less rap parts.

True. I only listen to BTS, although there are some BGs songs that I love here and there (like Ikon’s Killing Me, SKZ Hellavator, TXT’s antiromantic and most current &Team’s Under the Skin). However, I realised that I gravitate towards GGs songs. It’s more pleasing to me. I guess one BG is enough while you can never get enough of GGs?

Tbh I feel like gg songs have always been more appealing even in western pop 🧍‍♀️

Maybe because I'm not a person who will put effort to discover new songs unless someone recommended to me or the song is viral. I guess that's the reason I listen to a lot of gg songs, they're everywhere, on every platforms. I end up put them on my playlist if I like it i guess that's it.

It doesn’t really explain but I think it’s just overall preferences, when I first listened to kpop I found myself always liking the girl groups more, in western pop female artists I’ve always liked more too

Im one of them. For now i kinda just follow bts music only but listen to many others gg songs.

I used to listen many bg songs in the past (2nd and 3th gen group) but now i quickly lost my interest for any bg beside bts.

But thats because I just dont like the BG sound, even in Western music

When it comes to "male" fronted music, I like stuff thats far rougher and harder than pop. Heavy Metal, Rock, Punk, quite hard/aggressive rap or hip hop. I've always disliked most male pop stuff, or slow, sentimental stuff or RnB, with very few exceptions.

Girl groups make catchy melodies. Its much easier to find a listenable track from a bunch of ggs compared to bgs

I try to balance 50/50 but I'm more into 2nd gen boy groups than 3rd or 4th gen. Nobody in 3rd or 4th gen makes music like big bang, shinee, beast or mblaq. In 4th gen skz is my only bg ult and itzy is my gg ult.
