Do you like "fixed-center" concept or dynamically changing center concept

i usually like dynamic centers but there are groups like ive with wonyoung or the produce groups whose center made the choreo stand out a lot more. i think i like fixed more these days

I feel like most groups go for an equal center distribution these days, even when there is a center member/most popular member.

But if there is 1 member given more spotlight, like Soyeon, I feel like they only do it if it makes sense/is deserved. It can be better than an equal center distribution, because it gives you something to remember about the group even as a non-fan. (If it's someone's first time listening to I-DLE then it's good that they receive a strong impression from Soyeon, rather than an ambiguous impression from equal center distribution)

So for the question I think most groups don't really do a fixed center right now, but when they do that I usually like it because it makes sense for their group. I never really disliked a group being ___ and friends or found it bad.

(Also I don't feel like LSF has ever had any member being the main center at all, unless you mean like Sakura stands in the center. Chaewon seems like the representative member to me but Idk if they really have an official center.)

Edit: Oh I realized you said dynamic center not equal center. I don't know what groups have a changing center so I guess I barely notice it anyway

I like it to be mostly fixed, but changed up once in a while to keep things interesting and give other members their chance to shine as well.

Not everyone is fit to be the center, i prefer a limited center rotation like how Izone had it. Wonyoung, Sakura, and Minju were the three centers of Izone and they worked out great.

I have no preference, the important is the formations looking great.

Actually, you’re a genius, I like this idea a lot.

It can be dynamic but probably only a few ppl in the group should get it. Just like rapping or singing not everyone is an equally good performer or dancer in a group. center is elevated when it’s the most charismatic member at the front. (They may or may not be the main dancer but their stage presence should be high)

People who think everyone in a group deserves this are just lying to themselves Kek.

Depends on the group? Since not everyone can carry the center position?

But I prefer variation, or if they had some kind of story to tell, I love seeing each member become the focus for each comeback

i didn't notice that sakura is le sserafim's center in this comeback

anyways, i like dynamic center, seeing two or three members rotate (in bigger groups) can be boring.

with dynamic centers comebacks are more exciting, you know you are going to get something different

I have been through bad experience with fix center:jealousy among group members, toxic solo stans, and it's annoying bc my fave isn't a center and dancing on the back.

So I'd rather see no center, the choreo with changing position on every 5 seconds, each member getting the dance break-rap line-high notes-low notes-intro-outro in rotation, depends on the song and concept.

Taemin in the center as far as I've seen in most live performances. Especially in dance formation. But it doesn't matter in SHINee because everyone is allrounder and talented.
