Changed the title of the thread from “So far this is the current 4th gen boygroup rangking” to “So far this is the current 4th gen boygroup ranking”. -
On akp maybe but not generally
Also we went over this topic a thousand times lol
Stary Kids would be second in terms of popularity sales and all, close to 1st if we take global streams into account and first with votes because moas suck at it lol and the rest would be around that with some changes

-
-
1st - STRAY KIDS
you're so right
-
-
1st - Oneus
2nd - The rest
SPILL BESTIE
-
Txt and Stray Kids are more popular than the rest in terms of streaming, sales etc.
TXT has the most SK, Japan and US sales while SKZ has the most youtube and Spotify streams
Edit : enhypen and treasure show great potential but they are too new to judge
Ateez is doing great, especially internationally just less so purely in terms of numbers.
The Boyz is starting to grow internationally and has shown great growth in Korea as they are part of the very small amount of 4th Gen bgs charting.
While it's not too impressive internationally, let's not forget groups being able to chart in SK like ONF, Golden Child and AB6IX

no but i can't answer you question without knowing the parameters of what you are ranking them on...
oh and for those that say everything how are you measuring everything ?
u ask so much from troll

its not really for the troll he or she wont answer me but for others who might come across this statement...

The Boyz debuted in 2017, the same year as WannaOne - they aren’t 4th gen in my opinion.
1. TXT
2. Stray Kids
the rest it’s a bit early to tell.

It's so weird that everyone calls them 4th gen. I think it's because they blew up more recently, but still. At least it's not as bad as calling Oh My Girl 4th gen
-
That's a big injustice to Stray Kids but I agree with TXT being on top

Lol, some people call OMG 4th gen?

They usually end up corrected quickly, but yes

Since when is Treasure second? Just because their fans spam threads? It's Enhypen. And in Japan they're number 1.

i think the boyz are technically 4th gen though
they debuted Dec 6 2017 and were grouped in the 2018 roty season along with skz

How are treasure second? I’m genuinely confused on how you came up with this 🥴
-
Hmm, if we base it on fandom size then:
1.TXT
2.Straykids
3. Enhypen/Treasure (similar fandom size)
If we base on japanese and international success:
1.TXT/Straykids
2. Enhypen/Treasure
Sales, charts:
1.TXT
3. Enhypen/Treasure
So Overall it's:
1.TXT
2.Stray kids
3.En/Treasure
I don't care about the rest so I don't follow them to know exactly what spot they take after the third one.
Third one is always shared between en and treasure because for now they show similar results and it's too early for judge. Stray kids definitely charts better than them, have a bigger fandom and is more known. About TXT - no explanations needed

Well because they already sold 1M album units despite being a rookie group. SKZ wasn't able to do this.
ENHYPEN sold 100K in Japan and again they are still a rookie group. SKZ wasn't able to do this too.
My ranking is correct. TXT > TREASURE > ENHYPEN > SKZ
-
Well because they already sold 1M album units despite being a rookie group.
Just because they were releasing albums every month, anyone would sell 1M this way.

Only if there's a demand.

I think it's TXT first, Stray kids Second then the rest.
-
The original ranking actually reads to me as very true in Japan?
Skz's social engagement numbers are very high - I think if that's taken into account they'd definitely be 2 internationally. Enhypen and Treasure are killing it in Jpn so it's skewed their numbers, but their global brand recognition isn't where TxT or Stray Kids are yet bc they're so new.
Catching up fast, tho', because of the reality show beginnings. (not a criticism, just an observation)

Only if there's a demand.
If we look at individual sales, they're behind other popular 4th gen groups. It's 1 - TXT/Stray Kids, 2 - Enhypen, 3 - Ateez, 4 - Treasure.

you wont change my mind.

Ignore facts then.

What are the criteria here exactly? Some groups like ab6ix golden child or ONF have better digital results than half of these groups but for some reason they re not in this ranking?

lol why u taking troll seriously
