I liked Holiday Party

Holiday party is bad, so I pretend like it was never released

Their concept change was a bad idea, there's a reason why nobody talks about them anymore, and they haven't had a comeback in 6 months when they were very consistent with the release of music.

I think It doesn't help they just lost a member...

Holiday Party was great and It's my favorite title track of theirs. But the problem wasn't in the concept, but people thought they missed when It comes to release a song with the same catchiness value of After School. They could just try again.

But Ven Para doesn't have neither the catchiness, nor Weeekly's colors and what set them apart. So It was double bad.

Who in the hell thinks that Kakao has any company clout ? They're no Sm or YG or something like that...

Also i don't know why some people are acting as if all Weekly previous releases wear successful some where a hit and others were a miss before after school there was zig zag and it didn't do well but they kept on carrying on with the same concept i don't understand why mid companies don't understand that they can't do risky stuff with their groups cuz they're no big 4

Holiday Party was an absolute bop and a SOTY contender. After School also coming on strong recently.

holiday party was a bop tbh. and also weeekly has been hit or miss success wise with their titles (tag me and zigzag, after school and holiday party) however girl crush wasn't going to help solve that problem. like the only thing that went well was their sales iirc. and jiyoon leaving definitely took a toll on the group. good vocalist, good dancer, decent rapper for a subrapper, variety skills and a producer.

I really wonder where weeekly will go concept wise next cb. they might release another cute song, because they barely perform ven para in festivals and released a special song called airplane mode that was super cute. I honestly wouldn't have been mad if they went for a whimsical, space-elegance concept, (something that sounds like wjsn-gfriend in 2020) but they might go for girl crush again and idk how I'd feel about that as they ARE my ults and I don't like girl crush most of the time.

ist is just a pretty messy company in general, I don't like the fact that two of my ults are under there. (weeekly and hiyyih, although hiyyih might not be there anymore according to other fans)

I think after the viral success of After School they tried to recapture the same vibe with Holiday Party, which was just too similar to AS. It was a cute song but didn't offer anything new.

I think the company decided to try a complete 180 on sound and concept because "Holiday Party" didn't work. But Ven Para wasn't very good and didn't fit some of the members (Jihan, Jaehee and Soojin) at all. It did kind of suit Monday and Soeun though

girl crush did not suit weeekly at all

As a casual who loved after school, i was waiting for their next drop which was holiday, and it was amazing I liked it too and looped the fancams of some members

But then they came back with girl crush and I lost intrest. Like the girls did their best but they dont suit girl crush they suit the concepts they did before more.

Im pretty sure many are like me cause after scholl was a hit, so tbeir company was stupid tbh
