I wouldn’t say “Beautiful Monster” is calm. It’s chorus is definitely not calm. It just isn’t on trend, basically.
“Attention” captures that Y2K nostalgia people want. It pays homage to pop culture back in the day, and people love that.

Right. I know the girls are good at singing but that chorus did not suit their voices at all.

Tbh i saw this video that was the worst voices in Kpop and they put Sieun and Yoon in there because they have a shouting match on the mic and i think that is almost correct. I think the issue is that both of them are too powerful for the other. It takes away the build up and overwhelms the listener when both of them are adlibbing at the same time, or when one of them is belting and the other is adlibbing.
