Why did I also see a knetz with a similar comment and to this day I am still not sure if they were serious or not. It feels like a bit of a shame though that HYBE didn't wait until next year to debut them so they could actually stand a chance for ROTY. But I guess they are going to leave that for I-Land girl group. And Why did I literally see somewhere there were rumors of Pledis coming out with a new girl group?

With the way that idol shows have been flopping lately in Korea (GP999, Queendom 2, My Teenage Girl, I-Land Season 1, etc), I actually don't think the I-Land GG will do that well in Korea. They'll probably end up more of an International group like Enhypen.

(Also mentioning Pledis and New GG in the same sentence is giving me Pristin flashbacks all over again. Please no. They need to keep supporting Fromis_9 instead)

Ive is more than safe rn, in fact I think Min Heejin only released everything suddenly because the girls were set to debut in august but now they dont want to be overshadowed by BP, Twice, SNSD and IVE.

yeah, this is basically what I think too. But since I-Land girl group is a girl group they will probably chart better though.

As for Pledis I really want to know why they think debuting a new girl group now would make any sense. I get that they are a different sub-label from Ador and Source, but the timing just isn't it right now.
