Blackpink’s next album will not top GIRLS in physicals.

Don’t get me wrong, they deserve the numbers, but the fandom of Blackpink is (in my opinion) only as strong as the Lisa fandom, as we can see in her solo album sales this still is about 400,000 albums short. But whats a little more shocking to me is that The Album was so hyped.

The Album was pushed back and pushed back and it was hyped up with features both on this album and features where the girls were hyped beforehand.

Aespa did these numbers alone, with fairly new fans.

SQUARE UP (the equivalent album from Blackpink [their previous two singles and a new single thrown together to complete their first “album”]) only pushed 1/10th the units its first week.

I’m here today to say that this next blackpink album will cap out at 1m max, especially because theyre on year 6 AND The Album CURRENTLY only has 1.5 million sales.

Dont tell me that 1.2 million of those people will go out of their way to pre order/purchase the first 7 days.

EDIT: i do HOPE that they sell more because i love them and their music, i just dont have faith
