I wouldn't say itzy and aespa were directly inspired by blackpink,but rather led by the knowledge that girl crush is what works the best now.

well. blackpink popularized girl crush again, they influenced a lot of groups to go that route vs cute or innocent or whatever. but i don't really see aespa or itzy as like...blackpink adjacent just bc they're both small number groups and some form of girl crush. their styling isn't actually that similar outside of maybe following general trends. their mvs are pretty different too, as well as their overall image. aespa has the whole scifi ai thing happening, itzy has always been more teen crush and the "i love myself" self confidence theme. neither of those are similar to blackpink at all.

If in a general "Oh, we can do girl crush unabated sense" I suppose you could argue it.

But once you go past that it gets really really unconvincing.

Itzy's overall tone is far poppier and high energy than BlackPink

Aespa is pretty hard on their lore stuff and overall cyber aesthetic. You could argue that Aespa is a lot more Hiphop esque, which might be BP influence, but Aespa's hiphop sound and sensibilities are way more modern than what Teddy tends to bring to a BP track.

I agree to certain extent, even though Itzy's route clearly is different, I do see BP being an inspiration to other labels and they taking little hints of BP but making it their own way. But at the end of the day, this subject depends on the side you are seeing it

To give a concrete opinion, Yes Blackpink has an influence on the industry by its success so the companies are inspired by it for them too to recreate the success.

However the post you copied is nonsense girl crush has nothing to do with blackpink, it was already popular with groups like 4minute or 2ne1. Blackpink's influence isn't in the music or the concept it's in the business strategy, and on this point yes the new groups and companies copy the blackpink model a lot. If ITZY, NMIXX and Aespa have partnerships with luxury brands from the start, it's not a coincidence.

There are other aspects also in the choice of members, the way of filming, the staging dance practice it is on aspects like that that the GG copy blackpink not on the musical level or on the concept, Blackpink are them even inspired from band like 2NE1 and 4Minute.
