I don't people who ac like ballads are the end of the world when they can actually be very successful like has no heard of Lewis Capaldi, Sam Smith, John Legend, Luke Graham, Adele and freaking Coldplay? Not to mention artist like Taylor, Ed Sheera, Beyonce, Rihanna, Bruno Mars etc who make other genres too but they all have a ballad as a single.

They literally think they know what's best for BTS its honestly creepy. Many people were upset at the English singles and yet they are their most successful singles ever. I think its safe to say they know what their doing.

they could literally just put out a project asking fans to hand over money for good spirits and fans would still be mad if people complained.
3 new filler songs after years of waiting is crap. And fans deserve to want more than just some last-minute cash grab instead of the new project they have been expecting and hyping up (and that BTS have hinted at!) for years just because Hybe worries they can't make enough money of it when members have to enlist.

Lmaoo when the very reason stated for not liking ballads is “they will flop in charts “ it’s def about being a success stan. Usually when I am waiting to hear a song, I wait for it’s release and when I don’t like it I stop listening to it and go my way to listen to what I like. Instead of demanding that the artist should be catering to my need.

I haven't listened to Life Goes On for more than 3 times so that's what I do
still people can be disappointed no? I loved Butter, others didn't. I didn't tell them they were fake fans.

i'm disappointed we're only getting 3 new songs after year and a half (before anyone comes after me, i'm talking about korean comebacks. i want to hear actual sope verses), i get it if you are disappointed too. but being mad over the song genre is stupid. it's not like they promised you an edm song and ended up giving us a ballad. and even if they did, it's a new song, who cares, i just want new music

I'm not mad it's a ballad per se (although I'm not normally super into ballads around summer time) but that it sounds like LGO pt 2 and that's literally my least favourite title track
so I'm just disappoined already, at least I'll be over it by the time it is released, so it's possibly better this way bc I'm guessing it'd be way worse after one month of expecting something great.
