Panrty cooks do cold dishes mostly?
Panrty cooks do cold dishes mostly?
hell naw.
Depends on the restaurant
I operate the deepfryer, the flat top, the salamander, the microwave, the standard stove, a steamer, and a freaking grill -- salads were an after-thought 100%
So basically the deepfryer slinging dots of hot oil, the flat top is just this big slab of stainless that's constantly at 400*F, the salamander is this oven thingy right at my brow height (the fire is on top, and there is a rack to put things in pans to slow cook), the microwave is aight, but the stove - if you leave that thing on you can make the metal red hot, the steamer can spit out superheated steam if you mismanage the water intake, the grill.. well the grill is just a OSHA violation that actually somehow doesn't violate OSHA.
We only have like three salads as a cold dish and thass it
I have to fry spring rolls, do side dishes, cook fish steaks, etc.&etc.
I swear I thought it was only cold dishes as well, the way other restaurants did it.

Are you saying they lied to you about hiring a pantry cook?
i never had a part time job in my life
Why subway was the best?
Because the rest sucked so much and was so boring and annoying but at Subway I could at least eat sandwiches ![]()
pharmacy intern
I've never had a part-time job.
well as I mentioned in another thread
I have a job as a security guard so literal gate keeping!!!
do internships count as a part time job as well?
I worked at a library as my only part time job before going into my current full time job!
Gardener and waste Hauling during School. Got picked up by Painting companies for few jobs a year. Mechanic and Event Photographer. Most fun was doing Event Photographer. Got to go to Corporate Award Dinners, Charity Golf and Parties.
My first job was at a party place, and around the same time I worked in retail for like a month. I worked at the party place for like a year, from my senior year of high school until my first semester of college. Then when I quit, I didn't work anymore until I graduated. From then, it's been full time.
