ELRIS have announced their rebrand as ALICE

I don't hate it -- the aesthetic of it actually reminds me of "All-ice" from the Nonary Games -- but it's annoying when they pick names that are difficult to google.

Like "Alice kpop" gets me two different idols who used the stage name of Alice, a kpop group named Alice White, and a kdrama called Alice.

I'm excited! It's been awhile since I've heard anything from Elris

You beat me to it lol. But this is so random. I'm happy they're still breathing as a group though lmao. I really missed these girls. This also shows that Sohee is a fighter. The girl doesn't want to give up after every step back and obstacle.

Anyway, hopefully, this rebrand means something good for the girls. Like they changed their concept over 3 times now. From Cute, Teen Pop and now to whatever Alice will be now.

And please no more new members. The group's dynamic changed when EJ and Chaejeong joined.

I'm glad they're back, but can they company have a clearly creative direction for them, please? They have long ass hiatus between comebacks and always come with random news (new members, now rebrand)

ELRIS have always been one of my token nugu groups. I'd basically accepted them to be de-facto disbanded at this point, but it's surprising to see them back with a new name. Their music style will probably change, but I'll check out their return as ALICE and see if it hits for me. Good luck, girls!

...oh, but that logo, though...that plain Helvetica font with only the most base level alteration (the star)...it looks so cheap! I know they're a nugu group, but it wouldn't have hurt to mess with a few different fonts instead of making a logo a 9 year old could recreate with PicsArt.
