no need to be aggressive. The chinese actresses I've seen have white skin and very thin. If tzuyu have a different career other than being an idol the possibilities are endless for her but I think she'll be pressured to follow beauty trends to get gigs.
She can also be a Taiwanese actress or singer but I think it's more safer for her if she is still in Twice if she wants to establish a solo career for herself.

I do understand the dichotomy in culture, because in eastern Asia, to be whiter means you were protected from the sun by your servants. As in upper class.
And lower class was in the fields and would get a tan from being in the sun.
But...it's 2022.
You can't really tell somebody to whiten themselves.

Saying it's racist is just stupid. Jlaw said in an interview before that she had to be thin to get roles when she was starting out.
Different entertainment industry have different beauty standard. If someone as beautiful as Jlaw have to starve herself to get roles then just imagine what other newbie actresses have to do to get roles. Since JYPE mismanage their solo careers, Tzuyu will have to start from scratch. And the pressure to conform will be stronger if she wants to stay working in the entertainment industry. That is why it's much better if she is still in Twice while she builds her solo career. It's much safer.
